I love At Bat. If I am not in the Bay Area, I can hear the Giants' feed even if it isn't available on xm radio.
I just buy the audio app and it is something like $24 for the season.
The giants have an app which I have not tested called at the ball park. It tells you where the food is and really wants you to upgrade your seat. It is a free app.
I'm going in August and maybe, just maybe, I'll download it ahead of time.
I can't listen to At-bat at the park because there is about a ten second delay. We take a radio and split a pair of head phones. The only place the broadcast feed is available at the park is the bathroom.
You can't get food in there and the seating isn't very nice.

When the last update of Twitter came out there was an overlay when you first ran the updated version that told (sighted users) about the new timelines view and with (unlabled) graphics indicated that you should flick the screen to the left to see the next page. On the third page, there was then a "start using twitter" button that would let you actually use the app. Unfortunately, almost none of that actually read well with VoiceOver, and it kept left and right flicks from scrolling through items in twitter at all. Have y'all run into this? I've also seen something similar happen with the Trans Loc public transit app (in that case, it was a little bar at the top of the screen encouraging you to download their new "Rider" app. I know that I've seen (though not tested with VoiceOver) similar things in a few other apps. Do you (O Blind Tech Sages) know of any universal way to get around these things or dismiss them?

Hi guys,
A big fan of the podcast, nice to be a part of an ever-growing community of idevice blind folks.
So, a question, I had the opportunity a couple years ago to use an id mate, neat gizmo, but I miss the ability to point the camera at a label and get USEFUL information, not just the price, but like cooking instructions - always nice when my sighted roommates aren't around.
Any knowledge of an app that does something similar? Because I Miss that but it's $$$$ and on my intern budget, it ain't gonna happen!
Thanks guys,
See ya in the app store!

PS: Oh, btw, it'd be awesome if you have a list somewhere of the apps you review and recommend, although maybe their is and I just haven't discovered it yet.
