Dear 3ch Team:
I'm writing in response to your advice to hard reset the iPhone by holding down the home button and the sleep button. Up until IOS Version 6, hard reset was harmless. With the introduction of Version 6, however, a hard reset results in the loss of VoiceOver, and the only way to get it back is to connect your phone to a computer to turn VoiceOver on in iTunes. I emailed accessibility@apple.com, and they are convinced that this is not a bug, that this is what is supposed to happen. So I no longer re-boot my phone this way.
